You are being duped! By stupid people! Instead of eliminating Day Light Savings Time they are making it permanent. Trust me you will not like it!!! If you live in a northern state? Winters are going to suck even harder. You will get an extra hour of darkness in the mornings. One injection, 62% lower LDL - permanently. Gene editing for cholesterol is here. .@cremieuxrecueil is correct. Besides GLP-1 antagonist like Ozempic or, more recently, Retatrutide, this is probably the next breakthrough that is almost impossible to put into words. Verve Therapeutics (Eli Lilly) just published Phase 1 results for VERVE-102 in the NEJM. It's a single-infusion base-editing therapy that inactivates PCSK9 in the liver. At the highest dose, PCSK9 dropped 88% and LDL cholesterol fell 62%. Reductions held for at least a year. 35 patients with familial hypercholesterolemia or premature coronary artery disease. No dose-limiting toxicities. Main side effects: mild infusion reactions and transient liver enzyme elevations. Still Phase 1, still small, no cardiovascular outcome data yet. But the proof of concept for permanent, one-shot LDL reduction via gene editing is real. This is an absolute game changer and im not exaggerting. Elevated LDL cholesterol is responsible for an estimated 4.4 million deaths every year worldwide and remains the single biggest modifiable driver of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death globally.

Eli Lilly has done it. They've gone and made what seems to be a powerful, permanent gene therapy for LDL cholesterol. That means they'll be able to effectively prevent most heart disease with a single infusion!

You don’t think they had a significantly similar degree of control over national primaries under George W. Bush in 2006? Then the Ron Paul Revolution began in 2008 — building the strongest youth movement the Republican Party had seen in a generation. Even Charlie Kirk came from that movement. The Thomas Massie race demonstrated that this would not just be a movement of one young generation anymore. In 2028, the Thomas Massie Revolution would unite every generation that doesn’t get its news from cable TV anymore — with all the activist infrastructure we’ve built over the last 20 years.

A team at Westlake University in China just published a handheld cancer detector in Nature Photonics. Single drop of blood, 94.9% accuracy for early-stage lung cancer, 10,000× more sensitive than the standard lab test. Chip cost: $5.Worth paying attention to, but also worth reading carefully. That 94.9% comes from 171 patient samples. The device replaces refrigerator-sized lab equipment with an LED, a photodetector, and a 3D metamaterial chip. Genuinely impressive physics. However, the gap nobody's talking about: every year produces 3-4 "revolutionary cancer detection" papers. Almost none survive the jump from Nature paper to clinical validation at scale. Caveat here: 171 patients is a starting point, not proof. But the engineering approach is what's worth watching.

They become newly relevant.
