Yet they've never read a book, done any research or critical thinking, have no pattern recognition and cannot connect the dots.

This is true.
My 17 year old son is in a Restore WhatsApp group with his schoolmates.
There were 4 of them in it in January, it now has 48 in it.
My 2 daughters AND their husbands have joined Restore.
My daughters both teach, husbands work as physicist, and a civil engineer.
This is far reaching and a very broad church.
