We loved this little video with Andrew Garfield and Elmo.
Although it can be sad, it’s also good to think of those who have died, and the special memories we have, as it can help us feel comforted, knowing how much we loved them.
These moments will stay with us forever 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Pls share this with someone who may be struggling today, thankyou

@chebbes Ugh, it may be time for me to consider varifocals, as she types while peering over her glasses to see the too small writing up close 😬

@chebbes @cilla_dog I have a mental image that keeps on giving 😅

So happy that we had a visit from @cilla_dog yesterday! There was a wobbly bottom, treats, sits, paws and twirls, and lots of fuss from patients and staff. 🦮🐾🐾❤️

@Laconic_doc You’re welcome! I’m now a consultant anaesthetist and retrospectively glad of the time off! Lots of luck to them ☺️

@ejwighton Thanks for this really helpful, encouraging response, Elinor... 🙏
...I'll pass it on! 🙂

@SaffronKim I completely empathise with this. It’s so hard to reach out so well done for doing that. Even the efforts of best-meaning friends can wane in time. Not their fault but I don’t think they realise quite how and how long grief can affect you. Keep reaching out,friends will be there.

Have arranged to watch the footy tomorrow with a friend and her son at their house. It’s still so hard for me to ask people, despite them being good friends. Just another one of the odd side effects of my #grief.

@RevRichardColes Nearly 3 years for me. The best analogy of grief I’ve heard is it’s like the butter in puff pastry. It’s always there but in thinner and thinner layers. Don’t think I did it justice somehow…

I’m quoted in the Guardian today. They’ve spelled my name wrong - but you can’t have everything.

I hope our trainees know that when I say we’ve got their backs - I mean, we’ve got their backs. Consultants acting down for the next 3 days solid. Rotas covered. Everything ready to go, and keep the place safe. Do what you need to - we have got your backs.

@clarecollins21 I thought you might appreciate this 🍑

To cheer you up! This wonderful piece of church artwork is supposed to say ‘arise’!
