I started on the CME floor as a runner in 1988. I worked my ass off to earn my shot at membership(my seat) to become a trader. I left for 4 years to study to be a catholic priest. After i returned the guy I clerked for backed me to trade. 38 yrs in the business and 28 as a trader has taken its toll. The only reason I have accomplished what I have, especially on the screens, is becaue I embarked on a journey to take care of my mind, body and spirit so I could function at a high level. However, this chronic stress and tension have accumulated to cause health issues I am dealing with. I am 57, I am stronger than the vast majority of you, but I am tired. My journey now is to learn how to unwind that chronic stress and tension. I will continue to move forward in the 3rd phase of my life and deal with or resolve the health issues I have. I will continue to be a more faithful man to the God that has always been faithful to me. I will continue to be a better husband to the love of my life, the step mother to my 2 oldest and the mother of my 3 youngest. I will continue to strive to be a better father to my 5 babies. I will continue to be a better-whatever I am to you all. I look forward to building my next business and bring something positive and helpful to this community we have built.
