It’s not a run and gun action game. It’s about tension and atmosphere and so I really wanted to lean into that. As much as there’s plenty of action in the movie it’s equally important to honor the dread. That moment when you look down a dark passage and you know something awful is waiting in that darkness for you. You don’t want to go forwards but you can’t go back. That’s the sweet spot"
