🚨BREAKING: Elderly Army veteran dies months after allegedly being sucker-punched by DoorDash driver he asked to slow down. 75-year-old Lloyd Poole from Wixom, Michigan, passed away on May 16 after suffering severe brain injuries. According to reports, in December Poole stepped out of his driveway to ask a speeding DoorDash driver to slow down in the neighborhood. Police say 40-year-old Ryan Turner allegedly punched him in the head, causing him to fall, hit his head, and go into a coma. Poole underwent multiple brain surgeries, including having part of his skull removed, but never recovered. The suspect faces upgraded charges following Poole’s death. A veteran who served his country lost his life over a simple request for safety. Heartbreaking.

On May 19, 2021, Christopher Neil Oberheim was killed on the job. Chris was responding to a domestic violence call with another police officer when they encountered Darion Lafayette in his car. The young man got out of the vehicle with a hidden gun, which he soon used against the two men. Chris, a 44-year-old father of four daughters, was hit in the torso, neck, and head. The other officer was also shot three times, but survived his injuries. The attack was so sudden that Chris's handgun was still holstered when he died on the ground near Darion's car.
