🎄 ¡AdventJS 2025 ya está aquí! 🥳 Este año tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con el equipo de @midudev, @RaillyHugo y @maadeval en el diseño de la edición 2025 de AdventJS. Para este proyecto buscamos un estilo retro, pixelado y con un toque técnico, así que nos fuimos con la fuente Departure Mono: retro vibes, estética pixel y monoespaciada, ideal para que también luciera bien en código. La idea era capturar la esencia retro con una intefaz moderna y navideña. Probamos varias paletas de color hasta encontrar una que funcionara en toda la UI. Lo mismo con las fuentes: Exploramos opciones como Geist Mono, pero Departure Mono terminó encajando perfecto con lo que queríamos lograr. 😅 Algo que se pudo rescatar de nuestro MoodBoard es que debe ser un diseño denso, pero sin sobrecargarlo con tantos detalles, estructura grid, combinar textos con caracteres especiales Gracias por la confianza. Reimagining the website for @benfryc 's incredible Knob keyboard as a personal design challenge. 🙂 Something I liked about this design was: ⌨️ In my opinion, the italic serif font (Instrument Serif) adds a lot of character. This, combined with the sans-serif font (Clash Display), reinforces the tech-focused, minimalist aesthetic. I also used generous letter-spacing to give it that premium feel. ⌨️ The layouts are designed to feel asymmetrical and deep, playing with typography to make the elements feel like architectural structures.

Design is as much about feeling as it is about function. Strip away creativity in favour of AI and what’s left might work, but it won’t resonate. Beauty comes from human emotion, not perfect logic. We create because we love to.
