Two Signal Paths: PATH 1: Paying Fans (Allocation Signal) Weight: 0.5 - 4.0 (full strength) Based on: Amount allocated + budget distribution PATH 2: Free Listeners (Listen Signal) Weight: 0.2 - 1.6 (0.4x cap) Based on: 40% frequency + 40% recency + 20% consistency

The Magic: •Free listeners CAN influence discovery (but at 40% strength) •Two engaged free listeners (1.6 + 1.6 = 3.2) can pass threshold •Single free listener cannot pass threshold alone (prevents gaming) •Paying fans always have stronger influence (4.0 vs 1.6 max)
