After Henley Masters last weekend, unfortunately no medals, Hexham are off to Nat Champs at NWSC. HRC juniors racing over the weekend, with the hope of A finals and medals. Go Team Hexham. Good luck all northern athletes. Enjoy it. 😀

Sunday of Brit Masters and Durham regatta saw no further medals, but runners up spots in Non Champ Mxd 2x at Nottingham, and WJ champ 4x at Durham, plus E4x, (Comp) win. Now on to WOMENS HENLEY and the first ever Hexham crew racing, WJ 4x- next weekend. Go Team Hexham... 👍

Also wins at Durham regatta Saturday for Hexham Rc in composite crews WJ18 8+ with QEHS and J16 4x with Durham School. Go Team Hexham...

And it's a rap. 253(ish) races from 830am to 6.08pm, Hexham regatta is done. Amazing day of cheering, racing, catering, raining, sunshining, boating, starting, finishing, chasing and for the last race of the day to end in the tightest of margins, with a crowd on the edge! Wow!

After a great Wansbeck regatta yesterday with wins for J18 2x, Mas2x, WJ18 2x, MxdJ16 2x, W2x, J15 2x and W1x it was Sunday League at Hexham today and a great club mobilisation to enable the crews to complete a mind boggling skills course. Next week Hexham Regatta. #GoTeamHexham

Hexham RC juniors in action at a curtailed national schools regatta, ( NSR). Championship W4x, finishing 15th in the time trial and then winning C Final, Esme, Emma, Belle and Emily. Dan finishing 28th in Championship singles against top single scullers in the UK. Smashing it.

Meanwhile at Nottingham masters on Sunday 11th, the older section of Hexham RC, mixing with the big guns, managed wins in WC2x, Elizabeth and Catherine and ME2x Kevin in a Hexham/DARC composite.

After last weekends Strathclyde Park Regatta, which saw Hexham RC ladies returning with a hatfull of medals in masters 4x, 2x and 1x, it's down to NWSC for more multi lane fun with HRC juniors racing for Team Northern at JIRR tomorrow. Good luck 👍 everyone.

Another weekend, another head race. Is it Groundhog Day? Hexham RC raced in all 4 divisions at Durham SBH. Dawn till dusk action saw some great times, with wins for WJ18 4x, J18 1x, Masters ACD 1x and Masters CDEGH 4x, (Composite). 👍

TURC NYs Head saw Hexham RC blasting their way through the waves, for a few victories and a few close runners up spots. Well done everyone who raced today. 7 Wins I think. Div 1, Mas 4x (Comp), W mas 8+, (Comp), and O2x Div 2 O4x, (Comp), WMas 4x, Wj18 8+, (Comp) and Wj16 4x

Having already won Adult team of the year at Tynedale Sports Awards together with HRC WJ16 quad who won junior team of the year.

As the sun rises, so it sets. As we leave Tyne ARC after the end of the last race of 2024, Rutherford head div2 saw 2 more Hexham crews tackling the 4500m course with a junior 4x composite and a WmasBC4x with last minute subs to conclude a great year of racing. Go Team Hexham.💪
