📢 HyperVent Project Update
After more than four months of building, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue HyperVent under its current form.
We want to be transparent about the key reasons:
1️⃣ Ecosystem Misalignment
We began building with the belief that public blockchains exist to empower permissionless innovation. In practice, we faced unexpected resistance, including limited communication and a lack of support structures for independent builders.
2️⃣ Legal & Branding Constraints
Despite operating as an independent team, we were served restrictions on naming, branding, and communication. These limitations made it impossible to scale openly in what we had assumed was a public environment.
3️⃣ Community Trust Challenges
The account we acquired earlier this year created noise around legacy associations. While HyperVent has always been an entirely new team, new token, and new vision, we recognize that this legacy baggage became a distraction from our mission.
4️⃣ Resource & Funding Needs
As a lean team, we were balancing product rollout, fundraising, and community expectations. Without a supportive ecosystem and with legal headwinds, the responsible choice was to conserve resources and reassess how best to serve our mission.
💡 Our Belief Remains
Public blockchains should be fertile ground for innovation not walled gardens. We remain committed to the vision of institutional-grade, gamified DeFi infrastructure, and will carry these learnings into future initiatives across multichain ecosystems (EVMs and Solana).
