They hug each other until it becomes dark enough to notice. At that point, TJ takes YW's hand and says, "C'mon, show me around." Hand in hand, they go from room to room: first, the kitchen (which I think is the door to the left of TJ when he walks in). The kitchen has granite countertops and brand-new stainless steel appliances. The pantry is full of food in preparation for TJ's homecoming. (YW said, my man is gonna eat, and he's gonna eat well😤). YW walks them into the dining room. The decor is similar to the living room: mid-century modern, royal blue chairs, and a dark wood table, most likely walnut, centered below a slightly nicer chandelier than the one in the living room. YW guides TJ through a short hallway. There are two doors: one leads to a half-bath, and the other leads to the master bedroom. TJ gets bashful when he enters the bedroom and looks around with curiosity. YW has various knick-knacks and a few pictures of him and Toby, but for the most part, it's simple. The lighting is warm and cozy, and TJ is surprised that the bed is actually made. He cracks a joke, and YW rolls his eyes and smiles. TJ immediately notices that the connected bathroom has two vanities. YW's side has a gray cup with his toothbrush, and TJ's side has an empty white cup. YW's face falls as he says, "Shit, I forgot to buy you a toothbrush." TJ murmurs, "Don't worry about it," as he takes in the rest of the space. There is a tub in the middle of the bathroom, with a walk-in shower and a linen closet next to it. The toilet is in its own small room, separate from the rest of the space. It reminds TJ of a spa as he notices a stick of incense has been burned, encouraging a sense of calm. "You probably want to shower," YW says, distracted. He's still obviously bothered that he forgot something in his preparations. "I'll go to the store to get--" Before YW can even take a step, TJ pulls him close. The sound that leaves YW is enough to thrill TJ. "We can worry about that later," TJ whispers, each word brushing against YW's lips like the softest of kisses. "Show me how the shower works first."
