Pecatur putri Indonesia bergelar Woman International Master (WIM) Chelsie Monica Ignesias Sihite berhasil mengalahkan pecatur nomor satu dunia Magnus Carlsen dalam sebuah pertandingan catur simultan yang digelar di Hong Kong. Prestasi tersebut langsung menjadi perbincangan hangat di kalangan pecinta catur internasional. Dalam acara catur simultan tersebut, Magnus Carlsen menghadapi sejumlah peserta secara bersamaan. I woke up at 4:00 a.m. with a heavy burden to pray over the grave situation we are facing. And as I prayed, the Lord impressed something deeply upon my heart. When President Trump says that Israel exists only because of him, he is unknowingly echoing a biblical principle: God has placed me in this position for such a time as this. Immediately, I was led to Esther 4:14: “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” If a leader allows financial interests to override righteous judgment, God is neither surprised nor hindered. He simply removes that leader and entrusts the task to another. The day is coming when no world leader will be willing or able to stand with Israel. The danger will surpass human comprehension. And that is precisely when the Lord Himself will intervene. As He declared in Ezekiel 38:22: “And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.” God will not abandon His people. This story literally gave me chills. Inside the Monastery of Santa Ana and San Jose in Córdoba, Spain, there is an ancient crucifix known as the Cross of Forgiveness. Unlike traditional depictions, this image of Christ shows His right arm detached from the wood and lowered toward the ground. The origin of this unique posture is tied to a powerful legend. It is said that a regular penitent once knelt before the cross to confess his sins. The priest, frustrated by the man’s repeated failings, granted absolution but issued a stern warning: "This is the last time I will forgive you." When the man eventually returned to the confessional, broken by his weakness once more, the priest refused to offer him grace. At that moment, the monastery fell silent, broken only by the sound of wood creaking. The right arm of Jesus miraculously detached from the cross and made the sign of the cross over the sinner. A divine voice echoed through the chapel: "It was I who shed my blood for this soul, not you." To this day, the arm remains lowered, an enduring testament to the depth of divine mercy and the promise of endless forgiveness.

It is right that Christians today look at Israel with special interest. Not only because it occupies a prominent place in the Bible, but also because many prophecies about this land and its people have yet to be fulfilled. Since 1948, it has lived again as a free people in its own land, and that in itself is a miracle. Perhaps an even greater miracle is that it has now lived there for over 60 years, despite being surrounded by enemies, most of whom would like to see it driven into the Mediterranean Sea as quickly as possible. This has been attempted in various wars, but without success. Undoubtedly, God's hand is in this development, and it heralds the time when God will fulfill His promises. Yet, we must not forget that we are still in the phase in which God temporarily severed the special bond with His people. He demonstrated this clearly by tearing the veil of the temple from top to bottom at the moment His Son died on the cross . The relationship between God and His people has not yet changed. God still calls His people " Lo - Ammi " (= " not My people ") . Ezekiel 37:1-14 describes this development. First, the prophet sees a valley with dead bones scattered about. As he begins to speak, a movement occurs, forming a body from these loose bones, complete with muscles and skin. But still no spirit, still no life! This is the situation we have seen since 1948. Israel is recognizable as a nation, but generally still dead (to God). God's Spirit now lives and works in another nation, namely us, the church. When we are no longer here, the Spirit from heaven will work again in a special way in Israel . Many of them will come to living faith and will begin to look for their Messiah.
