@AnelasLize I think it depends on the standard of meaning natural
His body has the natural skin tone he was born with, and he’s an athlete who spends a lot of time in the sun, so his arms and legs are tanned. But can say them natural too
&ofcourse thereare also Koreanswho bornwith darkerskin
English

@itssequela no I see you're separating them. it's about how you consider the body fair skin is natural while the tanned arm and leg skin is not.
English

We’re not angry because people say Koreans have bronze skin.
We’re angry because some people insist that this is the “original” Korean skin tone and ridicule Koreans with lighter skin by calling them fake or accusing them of “white tanning.”
Koreans can naturally be fair-skinned

a pele original real dos coreanos eh linda demais n sei pq eles tem essa obsessão em ficar brancos q nem um fantasma
English

@moon_fernando yes and lighter skins are natural too but you guys keep saying koreans want to be caucasian and hate tanned skin
English

@itssequela El detalle está en qué la chica del bus original que generó toda esta polémica dijo que le parecía lindo ese tono de piel que tienen los asiáticos, pero cometí el error de llamarlo "natural"y por alguna razón todos los coreanos empezaron a insultarla
Español

We know we’re not white (Caucasian). Our skin generally has more yellow undertones. Could this be a translation issue where the Korean word for “fair/light skin” gets translated as “white”? We’re talking about having a lighter complexion, not being white as a race.

@AnelasLize yes tanned skin is also natural too as I already said in the original tweet
English

@itssequela cuz girl your tanned skin is also natural 🤣 it's so funny seeing you keep denying it lol
and yall need to do some research about how legit this kind of map is before flashing them around

Becoming lighter is colorism, but getting a tan is fine?
That logic might make sense in countries that were historically ruled by or heavily shaped by white colonial powers, but it doesn’t really apply to East Asia, where the context is different.

정말 죄송한데 밝은피부를 선호하는게 뭐가 죄인지모르겠어. 남미에서는 그게 죄일지몰라도 여기선아니거든. america 대륙의 문화와 asia 문화를 섞지말아주세요. 그리고 밝은피부를 좋아하는것이 백인선호가 아니라는것도 좀 알아줘. 백인이 되고싶은게아니라 밝은아시안이 되고싶어.
English

@AnelasLize Yes🤗 Maybe you’re the ones who see fair skin as superior. I don’t understand why people get so upset when others have lighter skin tones.
English

@itssequela oh so "we can have different skin tones" but also "see how white these maps say us to be 😍"
English

@itssequela girl the whole world knows kpop idols' obsession with white foundation using on their whole body 😂 like these claims didn't come out of nowhere, yall just have bad marketing right from the start
