On our recent bike ride around the bottle kilns it really struck me that the buddleia pose a real threat that needs constant management. Farmers are using drones to apply weedkiller. The heritage organisations should buy one for an annual tour that could also video survey them

It's so thoroughly depressing that they cancelled the worthwhile and important bits of HS2. Obviously the thing should go from Birmingham to Sheffield, Leeds, and on to Newcastle and Edinburgh. And the Manchester branch should go on to Glasgow.
