@RanjitJhala That’s not clear to me. I was personally much more mentally prepared for it than I was in 2016 — back in June it was a fait accompli — but I don’t think the world is. Trump’s second term is going to be much worse than the first.

This assumes a lot about just outcomes (anxiety deriving from scary/unjust outcomes) as a consequence of maximizing freedom which we know in theory and in practice is not necessarily how things work.
