I must say the stochastic nature of working with agents by far the worst. Yesterday, I could describe my problem and it would implement it near minimal changes. Today I describe my problem and it rampage throughout my whole codebase...

I watched the Steve Jobs (2015) movie yesterday to get myself pumped for WWDC 2026. I made a terrible mistake, it gets worse year after year. The presentations are so forced and uninspired. Steve Jobs would be disappointed at how @Apple once again has problems innovating and plays it super safe. It feels like a Java conference with an expensive film crew. #wwdc

@SnowRa33 @Apple So much has changed. It’s all about numbers, and with current social media, it’s easy to push stuff to customers and make them like it if they get exposed to it through brain rot videos. It’s a different game. Maybe “don’t hate the player, hate the game” would fit here.

I couldn’t agree more. I indeed was a big Steve Jobs fan. He inspired me. He was a philosopher, an artist, and then a technician. Plus a very rare superpower: the ability to forge together truly talented people, in small groups. They don’t give people like that these kinds of positions anymore. It’s only about the numbers, and control, by now. Sadly.

WTF is that appreciation rap music video at the end of #wwdc keynote? Am I the only one who got youtube rewind vibes?

It feels so rehearsed, performative, and lacking heart, without Jobs attention to detail. I wasn’t a Jobs fan before, but I am excited for the new CEO. Apple needs a wind of change. The company, built on innovation and caring about customers to the point of obsession, needs to get back on track. Their hardware is still great, but the software needs to be rethought.

100%. Tim might have helped make all shareholders rich af, but he damn sure (idk if willingly) destroyed everything that was special about Apple: human-centric design, Bauhaus design principles, simplicity. What remained were pink gold MacBooks and solid gold Apple Watches (pretty much when I checked out). Let’s hope for the new bro replacing Tim to go all out India-trip inspired HCD again 🤞

@lackoftactic @Apple I’d say there was only one demo that felt slow. The improvements to the different OS seem widespread and focused on efficiency and practical use cases. Like the photo editing, context aware Siri taking actions on your behalf etc. Rly can’t imagine being disappointed so far

Ngl, 40 minutes into WWDC. The conference is extremely disappointing. It looks like the industry leapfrogged Apple, and most of the features sound like gimmicks and are terribly slow even in pre-recorded demos. Is that all you can do, @Apple? #wwdc

Congratulations @Apple, you’ve just been massively mogged by @Microsoft. Their BUILD conference for the most boring OS on the planet was much more entertaining and showed sparks of vision. WWDC in a nutshell: we tried to fix Siri and I think we failed, but look at how many AI wrappers around Siri. P.S. The criticism comes from someone who owns a MacBook Pro, Apple TV, iPhone, Apple Watch and is a software engineer. #wwdc

New Siri in a nutshell - Siri AI – really creative name - App Actions - On-screen awareness - Visual intelligence - Current world knowledge - It's supposed to be a more fluid experience What can you do with it now? - Dictation fixed?! - Talks Gen Z boss in the mini lingo - Create reminder for getting concert tickets. Not blown away at all - It can tell you where your favorite Instagram influencer posted their photos - Show you photos of cows from last week that you forgot to delete. You creep! - Share photos of cows with family - Change her voice a bit, but still robotic #WWDC

WWDC 2026 - June 6 Apple really bets on privacy first as their angle to not be completely irrelevant.

Watching WWDC and it’s one of the most boring 25 minutes already. They better pickup the pace.
