@FlynnJonas2 Nope. I have the exact same feeling, and even during tournaments it feels like I only watch because everyone else is. I really couldn’t care less. This obviously changes if a Saints player is involved, but even then it’s only because they’re there.

Help me out here…. I love football, like love it, it’s a huge part of my life, and watching #SaintsFC effects a lot of my life… So why is it whenever the national team play, I just can’t be bothered, like not interested in watching at all.. Am I alone on this view??

@cafc_luke_ Always done a great job for us & scored a few absolute bangers. Since being back he’s consistently been one of our best players, even in the 5-0 vs QPR. Brilliant attitude after he was sent on loan to Charlton by WS. He’s taken the opportunity to return & has been excellent.

@FootballMartin_ @AlfieHouseEcho Is it not more likely that he’s giving Leo a bit of a rest ahead of another double gameweek? He seems to be very methodical about his reasoning for every player’s spot. Maybe after the way we took Birmingham apart at SMS, he thought Jay could start & keep Leo ready just in case.

@secondtierpod Bournemouth. They think Saints treat them as rivals. They’re not even close. They’re just the ‘team down the road’. Not 1 single Southampton fan would list Bournemouth as our rivals instead of the blue few down in Portsmouth.

@sfcdan_ Still was badly let down by whoever sanctioned transfers & didn’t get a decent striker in, instead bargain hunting & buying Downs who sadly isn’t capable yet at this level. We badly need a Lambert/Pelle/Beattie goal-hungry type capable of getting on the end of crosses & scoring.

@sfcdan_ I honestly don’t think this is all on Will Still. In recent games we’ve been set up well & enough chances fired in to be 4/5 up by HT. Today was woeful & unfortunately we don’t have an imposing striker with some strength who’s capable of creating or putting chances away. (Cont)

@RhysTheSaint The North East have had our pants down twice. Sunderland robbed us for Ross Stewart. He was already injured & somehow we still paid a wedge for him. We paid a good wedge for Azaz. He doesn’t seem to fit in yet & is struggling but He’s a decent player if we can get him right.

@rory1anderson @FlynnJonas2 Insisting on defenders taking goal kicks short, playing tici-taca in our own box was insane but he encouraged it, even when we were losing. RM had one of the fastest set of wingers & forwards in the Prem, but refused to allow them to fast break the way Leicester used Vardy & co.
