@songadaymann @ArtOnBlockchain @ethereum Yeah, awesome project man. I wish I'd made it work.
It seems we've finally got a critical mass of extreme-long-term thinking. I'd love your help figuring how setlists go onchain.
...like, set a goal to have every GD setlist onchain by a certain block (eg, 'dead by 30m')

@ArtOnBlockchain @ethereum i had fun making my song!

Over 650 sprites have been created.
Y'all have far exceeded my expectation.
Thank you so freaking much.
Crazy to think this will continue to run as long as the @ethereum blockchain persists. Like in 100 years my great grandkids may be able to spin up a sprite and share it. 🤯

@songadaymann Sure - what do I put in the "mint" and "count" fields?
English

@llamasinthecode mainnet!
i am trying it on firefox, and it's working with metamask for me! that is so weiiird!
Can you try minting from the contract directly?
etherscan.io/token/0x0134e4…
i think it's #11 in write
English

@songadaymann hard refresh, same result. What network is it supposed to be trying to use? Here's the console output immediately after I click mint - maybe an API key limit or something w/ opensea?

English

@llamasinthecode and/or i added a wallet connect project id - does it work now? (may need to hard refresh?)
English

@songadaymann Nope, just vanilla metamask.
Eesti

@llamasinthecode chat gpt seems to maybe think it was because you were trying to do it with wallet connect?
English

@songadaymann Tried Firefox 145.0.2 and Brave 1.82.166
English

@llamasinthecode oh bollucks! try again? what happens if you try again right away?
English

@WSDOT_East Leplowski? That's your name, dude.

You do understand what I do for a living? I literally make bluegrass, and I recently restrung my mandolin.

@songadaymann Do I have to do something special for my ENS name to be listed when I bid?
English

@DrNickA Your point is sound, but I don't think this is a good example. All three of your examples are attributable to subsidies; I don't think HFCS is competitive in a free market.
English

@songadaymann I'm guessing you've already seen this, but if not, it's an amazing take-down of the IP model of music by John Perry Barlow, on a stage with a bunch of record execs:

Driving up to Albany today to sit on a panel about copyright and AI. It'll be me and three copyright lawyers.
Not sure how they found me or why they asked me but it seemed like a great opportunity to learn and talk about how I've been using AI.

@WuBlockchain Surely there's more context here that we're missing. The odds of quantum computing being able to pose any kind of threat to ECC by 2028 are very low. I'm not convinced QC will break ECC by 2128, let alone in three years.
English

Vitalik Buterin warned at the Devconnect conference that elliptic curve cryptography could be broken by quantum computing before the 2028 U.S. presidential election, urging Ethereum to upgrade to quantum-resistant cryptography within four years. He also stated that future innovation should shift to Layer2, wallets, and privacy tools, rather than the core protocol layer. dlnews.com/articles/defi/…

Today is @keonne and my wedding anniversary.
If @realDonaldTrump does not truly end “the war on crypto” and grant him a pardon, it will be the last anniversary we spend together for years.
All for the crime of writing non-custodial, open source, privacy software.

@owocki What's the best place to read or hear your critique?
English

I am glad that my pointed criticism of @ethdenver has helped to shifted the Overton window of discourse.
Before, no one would admit the emporer had no clothes.
Now, the silence has been broken and good people inside the community are working hand in hand doing things about it.
Still a ways to go imo, and all credit goes to those enacting reform, but glad to see progress nonetheless! Kudos to those moving Colorado forward and not backwards!

@CupOJoseph Agh, that's my problem; I've been using it as a big truck.
