DFAT has now confirmed Australians and others have been abused by Israeli authorities after their abduction from the flotilla. Assaulted and injured. Deprived of sleep and medication. Still illegally detained. The PM and Foreign Minister must urgently demand their safe release.

drips in the replies calling this fake news because it's ultimately from murdoch media. bro what's the stitch up do you reckon? that this dumbass queerphobic move was actually a coordinated effort by the whole labor party? it being a captains call saves you face, take the w

I don't know Murray. If you didn't want the Nazi references you probably shouldn't have passed extraordinary legislation to mandate government control of a trade union.

The Greens have defended MP Max Chandler-Mather after he appeared at a CFMEU rally where protesters held signs likening Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to Adolf Hitler. His appearance at the protest drew criticism from Labor frontbenchers. ow.ly/5P4e50T8ifB

Perfect example of how the Coalition flooded the zone with shit. There are no security concerns. No one has left Gaza for Australia since May. They created an issue out of thin air on a random weekday and now ppl are thinking of an imagined problem rather than our very real ones

Tim Pallas, former ACTU assistant secretary saying “get back to work” to workers striking is literally the definition of the Labor party. They don’t represent us. Their words and actions are indistinguishable from the boss’s. They serve the interests of capital, not workers.

Reminder, Labor have the numbers in the senate to pass whatever progressive legislation they want, including this. The reason they don't want to is because they're a cowardly government afraid to do anything that would ruin their attempts to appeal to Sky News voters.

I'll never forget how Western politicians spent days condemning people who protested peacefully outside a synagogue that was selling ethnically cleansed land. But literally blowing up mosques is not even a story.
Quds News Network@QudsNen

Watch | Shocking footage exclusively published by Al-Jazeera shows Israeli occupation forces detonating the ancient Greater Mosque in Khan Yunis. Another video from an Israeli soldier's GoPro captures the raiding of a mosque and the burning of all Quran copies inside.

Life has gotten objectively worse under Labor for working people and those in poverty by almost every single metric. Labor considers “progress” to be kicking out members who stand up against our involvement in genocide, gutting the NDIS, ensuring housing remains unaffordable and inaccessible, breaking up unions, doing SFA about Aboriginal deaths in custody, and so many other things. If that’s what you consider progress, then you’re right, I don’t “give a stuff”.
Ash@AshPolitik

You all dont give a stuff about progress to fix poverty, or make progress for low income and working people Your performative poverty politics is obsessive unhinged irrational hatred of Labor nothing more nothing less. When everything is the fault of Labor and government and this is your only world view, seek help.

Australian soldiers committed war crimes in Afghanistan, murdering innocent people and desecrating their bodies, and yet the only person your administration has jailed for this is the man who revealed the war crimes. Everything you say is a sham. You have zero integrity. Resign.
Senator Penny Wong@SenatorWong

Australia condemns the Taliban’s efforts to silence the voices of Afghanistan’s women and girls. The latest vice and virtue decree bans women’s voices and bare faces in public.   We stand together with the women and girls of Afghanistan, and in support of their human rights.

It is no exaggeration to say that the United States is an existential threat to humanity without precedent in history. It is a nation ruled by extremist warlords who have unilaterally assumed authority over the world and are prepared to commit genocide to preserve it.
BreakThrough News@BTnewsroom

Kamala promised the US military will stay “the most lethal fighting force in the world.” Speeches at the DNC left no room for doubt that spending billions for more war, militarism and destruction is the party’s top priority.

Before they go after the CFMEU, how bout they jail a single cop who’s killed an Aboriginal person. Cos in all the years of black deaths in custody, not to mention out of custody, not one racist killer cop has seen the inside of a cell.
