The big catch-all phrase that describes this new direction would be something like: Exploring the behavior, nature, and evolution of complex systems. Really I’ll be talking about interesting aspects of different kinds of systems (in politics, history, physics, evolution…).

When studying the movement of water, he would attempt to capture its essence by sketching its turbulent complexity. Many of us have complicated relationships with drawing. We assume that it largely depends on innate talent and usually that we lack it.

And so we stop drawing at some point in our childhood or adolescence. But if we want to start thinking like Leonardo, then drawing is a wonderful tool we can use.
