@cixorgstudios Yeah it happens. I had the same issue. I even had people reach out to me then just ghosted me lol

Got on meeting with a client , he liked my work He ask me to send him a proposal , after that he send me a counter proposal & We agreed on everything . Next day i asked him to send the raw files so he said "yes i'm shooting the videos will send you soon" & then he ghosted me.

@ManishShrmaa That is fine, I am busy working on a freelancing platform that will sort this out. So editors that need higher fees will get higher budgets, while those with a lower budget can hire editors from places like India. We need more fairness.

@michaelandedits Yeah but in India client looks for cheaper options and 10$ for a 30sec short is good amount of money here.🙂‍↕️

Would you ever try another platform similar to UpWork but for YouTube content creators? With serious creators and good editors? There will also be a entrance option for new editors to help them get into the market.

My follower count lately has been so strange. Idk why but I keep jumping an insane amount, especially within the last few days. One day I gained about 6 followers, the next day I lost about 5. Anyone know why?

@barkes_dan Yeah man, as a video editor, I'm having a really challenging time on Upwork with people who want animation-style videos for $10 or they just disappear lol I am even considering adding a penality system to these types of clients to protect talent.

Your thoughts, video editors. The client wants me to do a reel in 1 hour. The footage is a 30-minute conversation. Basic editing, captions, and color correction. Is this realistic in your eyes? For me, it is a little ambitious

This saying where content creators say " It is hard to find a good editor". I am near the best editor. When I grow my company I will head hunt the best editor to help grow my business. 10 year experience editor vs $10 per video for a new editor.
