note: watch his full video for full context, tried to make it as short as possible keeping all the key points
and paraphrased a little bit to make it read better*

Pewdiepie reveals how to break free from the algorithm
“A lot of this is going to sound crazy but you’ve gotta hear me out, it’s a step by step process. I’m not saying you should do all of it but you should try some of it”
“Step 1 is creating friction. I put all social media and attention hungry apps in a second profile and I can’t understate how much this changed my life. Those 5-6 seconds it takes to switch profiles stops me every time and makes me think, is this what I want to be doing?”
“The second thing I did was self hosting. The effect that had on me is I’m not the product anymore. The things I use are mine and because they’re not free, I’m not paying with my privacy. I think the main difference is ads and news don’t reach me”
“Next thing I did was disable Shorts, I like YouTube but I hate how Shorts is everywhere I can’t escape it”
“Then I unfollowed everyone. You don’t have to do this, this is definitely a me thing, I just got really fed up”
“Next, get a DNS blocker. You can remove ads completely, most of it won’t even reach your device”
“I think you owe it to yourself to take some time today and start building your tech fence”
“These tech companies don’t care about you, so you’ve got to care about yourself. The cheat code is building some friction and filtering out the noise, that’s your defence and your cure”

@LifeChangi67037 @wannercashcow Quality & consistency. Great team that are rewarded heavily.
Faceless creators all seem to think cheaping out is a good move. It's not.
English

@wannercashcow What does he do different than the hundreds of other channels that look similar to that?
English

Dr Insanity is a perfect example of a faceless YouTube channel
Yeah, everyone knows this channel but oh my god it's sooooo perfect
A lot of people forget that this channel started LESS than 3 years ago
That might sound like a long time but it's actually insane how short that is
Let's say this channel has an average RPM of $10 across the whole channel
He has 850,000,000 views
850,000,000 / 1,000 x $10 = $8,500,000
That's $8.5 million JUST from AdSense
This is not from sponsorships or anything like that. He also has those btw
His videos are extremely good though
The power of YouTube is insane. Absolutely insane
Of course this is an outlier… but everything is possible

@ArcadianAries @JackaryDraws @TSecret95990 @OpenAI I'd just look at the scripts chat gpt writes. At first they seemed cool and industry changing, but then everybody realized they are predictable and boring.
I think that the same will happen with these videos.
Good alternative to stock footage... But stock footage nonetheless
English

@TSecret95990 @OpenAI low-quality content for low costs is still low-quality content

@Luminalmvm that edit was so damn good i watched it every day
