It actually matters what gets done, what doesn't and how many resources and how much time is used up. Denying this reveals nothing but ignorance.

@HannesThurnherr @NotChilledOut @taylamay222 @BeanTwilly I think the passive aggressive point you're trying to make is a fairly moot one. I don't believe efficiency is a part of artistic expression. If we strive for efficiency above all then we lose something. That's on all of us

Not all writing in illustration is done for the purpose of art. In fact, most writing is not. Making this more efficient is obviously good, and anyone who writes for non-artistic purposes will tell you as much. But beyond that, i genuinely think you should introspect as to why such mundane things make you depressed. As i said, if you conclude anything about the value of humans or the art we produce based on the efficiency of the process, that's on you.

The actions you think it demands is entirely dependent on your moral systems. If you think it demands bad actions, the problem may lie with how you interpret facts.

Rewatched Alien Romulus this morning, no idea why and while I’ve probably seen technically worse movies this year, this is maybe my pick for worst. The most creatively bankrupt horseshit, a collection of scenes with no identity except whatever it’s pulling from the past. Awful
