In times like these, it is crucial for EF to support its ecosystem despite being app-agnostic. It also allows EF to be more sustainable: using its funds to generate revenue while supporting DApps running on Ethereum I understand the ideology behind each V's post, or EF PR. The real problem I am seeing and that still has not been resolved is: what is the $ETH's role in all of it? (besides funding EF, their contributors, and grants) I am really really struggling to accept the fact that the main Ethereum body today pretends to not see that the main use case for Ethereum today is financial, whether you like it or not: - ETH as collateral for lending - ETH as pool liquidity - ETH as a reserve to fund various initiatives - ETH as the security guarantee behind the network Remove these and Ethereum is as good as Visa or Mastercard, but less secure and with higher fees I am getting somewhat tired of philosophical takes that are not pushing Ethereum's ecosystem forward and seeing ETH being dumped by V or the EF every 2 months or so without engaging with its DeFi ecosystem (the only reason Ethereum is where it is today) is disappointing Last year we've seen some initiatives with deposits into Aave and Morpho. I think taking a stance in a bear market to support other players would have a better impact than whatever the document released today will have. But I guess nothing ever changes. Anyways, my 2c
