Not a fan of what they’re doing to the game of baseball, so I guess you could say I like the old stuff.

@clantro417 @OleTimeHardball LOL. Molina’s throwing is overrated. He ranks 212th with 40% success in throwing out base stealers among all catchers. Some others for comparison: Bench 43%, Rodriguez 46%, Berra 49%, Campanella 57% and 207 other catchers who had better caught stealing %’s than Molina.

@OleTimeHardball Hornsby and Foxx wouldn't hit .150 vs todays pitchers.
Why post nonsense like this ?

@k___michael @OleTimeHardball Sportsman’s Park in St. Louis where Hornsby played the majority of his games only favored left hand batters. It was a tough park for right hand batters.
English

@OleTimeHardball No Josh Gibson? No Rickey? No Yaz? No McGwire? Where's Schmidt? Edgar was the best righty I saw hit. Hornsby was an amazing hitter but a bit overrated. He played in a hitter's park when runs came easy and was a jerk. Still, dominate hitter. Foxx may be slightly overrated too.
English

@amodray @OleTimeHardball How many times did Aaron hit .400? Zero. Hornsby did it 3 times. Hornsby was greatest right hand batter ever.
English

@OleTimeHardball Aaron should be #1. Aside from that, I've always said the best hitters in the league are lefties like me. Joey D, Honus and Nap were righties though. Joey D has one of the GREATEST/UNBREAKABLE sports records ever. (Not that he stupped Marilyn Monroe! Perv's)

@NFLNumbersGuy @td_nash Mahomes, but he needs Tyrek Hill to pull it off.

@pr0ud_americans The Winner Is: Steam Fans Everywhere who got to see these 2 magnificent engines in action together.

Union Pacific 8444 (today’s famous UP 844) took the win that day! 🔥
SP 4449 developed a hot box (overheated bearing) partway up the grade, had to stop briefly to fix it, and fell behind.
The black Northern kept thundering ahead with its passenger train.
Friendly exhibition turned into classic steam drama on Cajon Pass.
Still one of the most legendary days in modern railfanning!

May 8, 1989: Union Pacific No. 844 (the mighty “Greyhound”) and Southern Pacific No. 4449 (the iconic red “Daylight” GS-4) settling the score on Cajon Pass 🔥
Two legendary 4-8-4 Northerns doublehead hard up the grade in this classic Pentrex footage.
Pure steam drama — who do you think won? 👀

@WebUndefeated Thank you Union Pacific. And hats off to all the dedicated and skilled men and women who restored her to operating condition.

@SarahWorkx I avoid things that keep me from getting a good nights sleep. Its usually stupid, hateful or ignorant politicians that I see on television or other news outlets.
