Progress on the new workshop. Two existing storerooms in the classroom have been removed. The space is amazing, and perfect for an Engineering workshop.

It all starts on Monday. Work will begin on refurbishing a few rooms and upgrading existing workshops. We’re excited!

@Mr_Morris_DT The short skills modules are definitely the way forward, especially with the carpentry unit. Can really make use of the off cuts of timber we have.

@phstd Carpentry module just a practice piece but works well.

We are looking to revamp our skills tasks/projects in Construction, Product Design and Engineering across all year groups. We are not after completed schemes of work etc… We would just be happy if anyone is willing to share photographs of what they are doing. Thank you.
