Success! @TeamYouTube has messaged us back and raised our API quota for us. You should now be able to search for your favourite songs again. Sorry for the incredibly long wait and inconvenience. We're monitoring our quota usage and working with @TeamYouTube to keep this in check

Unfortunately on our birthday we're running into issues with @TeamYouTube @GCPcloud @googledevs's API. Our key is currently limited resulting in YouTube search not working sitewide. We're doing our best to get this fixed for you ASAP. In the meanwhile, please use SoundCloud.

@PinkeadtheBrain @original_FoBoT @TeamYouTube Correct, we've had to wait over a week to get in touch with anyone over at YouTube. Google Cloud Platform support refuses to assist and we have to wait on @TeamYouTube.

@original_FoBoT @plugdj @TeamYouTube I think its more likely that they are being ignored or communication is taking a long time. If so this means they are being as transparent as they can.

Hi again. We're still busy working with @TeamYouTube to get their API issues resolved. It's out of our control. In the meanwhile we also have to renew our security certificates, we're doing that on March 20, we will need a short maintenance mode to restart services.

@original_FoBoT @TeamYouTube YouTube nor plug.dj has mentioned pricing in any of this. YouTube noticed a few issues when reviwing our site that violate the API terms. (For full transperancy: Branding (YT logo) and the video frame).
