I've optimized over 10,000 PCs including some of the top pros in the game. these are the three mouse settings nobody talks about Motion sync- turn it off it tells your sensor to wait before sending data to your PC. sounds smart but at 1000hz it's adding delay to every single packet your mouse sends. it's on by default on most mice (higher polling rate doesn't suffer as much with this on) DPI - set it to 1600 if you're still on 400 DPI your sensor needs way more physical movement before it registers anything. going from 400 to 1600 cuts around 5ms of delay on slow tracking. just lower your in-game sens to match Competition/esports mode - turn it on your mouse goes into a low power sleep state when you're holding still. when you go for that micro adjustment it has to wake up first. that wake up costs you anywhere from 2 to 10ms on the most important movement in a gunfight. this mode keeps the sensor fully awake at all times
