It is quite troubling that lawyers--officers of the Court--are being asked to potentially defy federal law as a condition of practice. Probably worth close scrutiny from the Civil Rights team at @TheJusticeDept (CC: @HarmeetKDhillon & @JesusOseteDOJ )
Ian Speir@IanSpeir

Colorado is now requiring lawyers in the State, as a condition of logging into its court e-filing system, to promise not to cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration law. Please understand: - I do not practice immigration law. - I do not practice criminal law. - Nothing about my civil practice has anything to do with this. And yet because I cannot log into the State's official e-filing system without saluting The Resistance, I now cannot represent my clients, file lawsuits, access cases, file documents in existing cases, etc. If I click "Decline," it kicks me out of the system. I must click "Accept" to access the system and continue representing my civil clients -- again, in cases that have absolutely nothing to do with immigration law or policy. I've read SB 25-276 (the law referred to below). It does not regulate me as a private attorney or any of the clients I represent in civil matters. This is outrageous draconian overreach. I have ethical obligations to my clients to represent them competently. My existing cases have running deadlines that I must attend to. Judges issue orders in my cases that I must follow. If I don't click "Accept" in order to access the State's e-filing system, I will harm my clients, torpedo my practice, and probably commit malpractice. So, I have no choice. I'm clicking "Accept" under protest.

@Cernovich Related: How do you like the slack board also in the picture? Use it much? Been thinking about grabbing one to keep balance in check as I get older.

A few years ago I threw my back out swinging a tool that was wrong for the job. Was horrific. Had neglected a lot of the rehab stuff. Got one of these and use it often. Also thank goodness for the internet. Old advice was RICE. In reality you need to move. (Not medical advices.)

@Cernovich @AJA_Cortes Movement is life. I’m rehabbing from shoulder surgery right now. PT is the difference between good recovery and immobility. 7 weeks out my ROM is at 95%+. I see others scared to move that are not doing nearly as well.

Anyway reminded of this as some guy messed his back up, posted an instagram tagging @AJA_Cortes, and basically followed the same protocol and was better in 6 weeks. In his case it was worse than mine, but same principles apply.
Cernovich@Cernovich

Day 1 could not get out of bed. Watched a great video where a gym bro slipped disks doing dead lifts. Did what he said. Moved as much as I could. Day 2 still in bad pain by moving. Within a week, doing LIGHT kettlebells and back extensions. Two weeks later, like nothing happened.

🇺🇸 can’t afford to lose a Senator. Lee and Schmidt? No way. Bad enough to lose JD to VP. People need to think strategically. There are like real MAGA 5 players on the board (all of Congress and DOJ) right now. Move up Harmeet Dhillon. Put Ed Martin up a notch.
Mary Margaret Olohan@MaryMargOlohan

People close to the White House are throwing around a lot of names for the next attorney general. Here’s a few of the names I’ve had mentioned to me today: - Mike Lee - Harmeet Dhillon - Ashley Moody - Lee Zeldin - Eric Schmitt

Thune and McConnell are embarrassing themselves with this nonsense, as if it’s not obvious to everyone that they’re just trying to get rid of Mike Lee. Fundamentally unserious people.

I know free online IQ tests are all the rage, but I have an even better one: if you think the U.S. fought the Civil War and ratified the 14th Amendment so Chinese communist spies could invade the country and receive citizenship for their commie spy babies, even though the actual author of the text said it applied only to former slaves and their children and not foreigners or aliens, you are probably retarded. See how much quicker that was than one of those scam tests? And you didn’t even have to think up a fake email to enter before I told you your score.

The left’s argument for birthright citizenship is obviously insane but it’s even more insane when you consider that they actually don’t believe in your or my “birthright.” We are on stolen land and don’t belong here, according to them. But the anchor baby whose parents got here from Guatemala 10 seconds ago has a “birthright” and is tied to this nation by blood for all time. That’s actually their position. It’s so psychotic that you can’t even argue against it. Like trying to have a political debate with a dog. These people are not rational.

Are the justices wearing their robes or capes today? Will they follow the simple law? Even when it’s politically hard. Or will they delude themselves into believing they are superheroes? Again.

@13013B She is an activist by nature, and a justice only in title. Her opinions are less baffling when viewed through this lens. She readily disregards logic to suit her political purposes.

Dear Supreme Court Justices: Your job is to follow the law. Even when it’s politically difficult. The law is clear: We The People, as the sovereign citizens, never gave birthright citizenship to illegals. Not in the 14th amendment. Not any statute after. If we change our minds, we will have our elected representatives in Congress change the law for us. Like we did for American Indians. You wear robes, not capes.

@MattWalshBlog Rush Limbaugh famously characterized Washington DC as "Hollywood for ugly people." This is perfectly on-brand for TMZ and long overdue.

I think it's great that TMZ is getting into politics. Most politicians just want to be famous anyway. That's the only reason they're in the job. Okay, you want to be famous? Well here you go. It's about time these people are forced to experience the shitty part of fame too. Treat them like the celebrities they want to be. Let's see how they like it.

Clarence Thomas is a brilliant man and one of the greatest justices of all time. He also needs to retire immediately. He's 77 years old. If Democrats win the midterms and then the presidency, which they very likely could, there's a significant chance they will get to replace him with another Kentanji Brown Jackson. That would be a disaster for the country. We need to get young conservatives on the court right now. Alito, too. He's 76.

The reason birthright citizenship was not carefully studied before now is because Biden mass-imported 20 million illegals. The Supreme Court justices know this. Will they have the courage to follow the law? Or will they play their cowardly games?

Bukele didn’t save El Salvador because he arrested all the criminals. He saved it because he removed the judges. Communist judges are the sword and shield of the communist revolution here in America. Removing them is everything.

The Trump administration must restore the legal status of potentially hundreds of thousands of immigrants who came to the United States legally through a Biden-era pathway, a federal judge ruled Tuesday. abcnews.link/iAn9X3o
