This take makes no sense if you actually understand BL culture or Thai language usage. 1) “Mom/Dad” in Thai and fandom spaces isn’t strict gender assignment—it’s often playful, relational, or situational. It does NOT automatically mean someone is being “turned into a woman.” 2) In BL, actors and fans CONSTANTLY use “husband/wife,” “mom/dad,” etc. as self-chosen dynamics. No one is being “forced”—they literally call themselves that. 3) Queer relationships are not required to avoid all heteronormative-coded language to be “valid.” Two men calling themselves “mom/dad” doesn’t erase anything—it’s just how THEY choose to express their dynamic. 4) If anything, insisting there’s only one “correct” way (like “two dads only”) is more restrictive than what you’re criticizing. No one is being disrespected here. You’re just projecting your preference onto other people’s relationships and calling it a problem. Grow tf up…
