watching a recap of all of mamo’s lives felt nostalgic yet so distant; that’s the effect of every live once you realize an era is ending. it feels ephemeral, even if it’s only been a year. at the same time, the more i watched, the more i remembered everything that happened each year since i became fan, and my feelings began to shift. it’s not bad, just a strange sensation what i do know is that everything used to feel more fun; if it feels a bit “dull” now, it's because of the lack of content. the pace was always so consistent. even though i didn't know much when i joined the fandom, i adapted quickly, so this unexpected drop hit me even harder—especially since so many things that were active for years disappeared last year. you’re never prepared for that, not when you felt they’d last forever. but rewatching those old lives reminded me exactly why i love seeing mamo on stage

i’m so used to mamo’s specials being an hour or an hour and a half long that i thought the live history would be the same. the pace felt slow that i wondered how they’d fit everything in until i realized it’s actually a three hour special lmao

with the start of the school and work year in jp, mamo was asked to share some advice and words of encouragement for those facing this new chapter. he responded that, in any situation, doubts and worries are bound to arise, but the most important thing in those moments is to hold on to the feeling for what we love he mentioned that it is possible for that feeling to change its shape; there might even come a time when, despite having worked hard for something you loved, you aren't sure if you can keep going. however, he assured that if you value and protect that feeling, you will eventually find something new related to it that you will also love he explained that as long as that feeling remains, the essence doesn't change, so it is vital to find something to love in every place you go. what you truly love never disappears and stays with you forever; at some unexpected moment, that feeling might even lead you back to what you loved in the beginning. finally, he expressed his wish that wherever we go, we may always find things to love and treasure them

it's normal to feel the effects of the agency change more and more; at least this time they are announcing it further in advance. but out of all the days they could choose, why do they always pick his birthday? just because changes are meant for the better doesn't mean you can help feeling sad, especially regarding something that has lasted for so many years doing everything in a single day—and on such a special date at that—prevents you from enjoying it the way you’d like. if their intention is to link it to his birthday, they should at least do it a week in advance so that one can get used to the idea, especially since there tends to be more announcements on that day it's not so much that these are just minor details, but rather about showing more tact and empathy regarding how others might take it
