I got scammed by an ai artist on my reference sheet. I tried so hard taking it around vgen artists to make real art out of it but they all refused to help. Very sad. I find it nearly impossible to look around on google, deviant art, Pinterest, etc for references bc theyre all ai art. I try just searching up a hairstyle to hand in as a reference and its denied. And I certainly lack the skills to draw what I envision myself. I wish artists were more open to accepting people who are just using it as a reference (not generating it themselves but people who got scammed or found something on google randomly). And not punish the customers who are trying to pay for real art in a world that is drown out by ai.
