@ObserverUK Maybe she needs to stop finding someone else to blame and look in the mirror. If only people knew the whole story, not just the case itself, people would stop giving thus woman airtime.

A mother's fight Christopher Trybus was cleared of driving his wife to suicide in a landmark trial. Where does the woman who spent ten years chasing the truth go from here, asks Claudia Williams bit.ly/4uv6N6H

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey Whereas you, with no personal involvement with anyone or anything to do with this case, should be listened to? 🤣 Chris is actually great our kids and has been a great father figure to his two step children. It's you that is irrelevant.

@rtipple01 @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey And i'm sure you'd feel very comfortable leaving your daughter with him... whatever you say now is irrelevant considering he is your mate.

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey I can do this all day long, every day if you like. You weren't there, you're jumping on a bandwagon for your own crusade. Evidence, facts, logic and justice prevailed. Not guilty. End of. Enjoy the sun as we have 🥂🌞

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey Nope, I'm defending justice and not an armchair judge either. Personal friends. In fact, me and the family have just got home from a celebratory BBQ at Chris n Bea's house along with other family and friends. Perfect sunny afternoon with lovely people.

@JFramingham11 @rtipple01 @thecrimeanalyst @jamiemroberton Her injuries were so severe that they were likened to a car crash victim or fatal strangling victims. Video evidence of the sexual assault exists. Bruises take around 6 to 8 weeks to heal so unless he was out of the country for months on end....

An important case and excellent reporting by @jamiemroberton Christopher Trybus has been charged with manslaughter, rape and coercive control after Tarryn ended her life. The prosecution has to prove causation. The evidence sounds compelling. Of course he walked into court with another woman on his arm. Despicable. The pattern is always the same. #HerNameWasTarryn @laurarichards99

I’m at the trial of Christopher Trybus, who is accused of manslaughter, rape and coercive control of his wife. Tarryn Baird took her own life - her family say she was a “remarkable person”. This is a very significant case and I’ll be updating this thread throughout the trial 🧵

@DivinelyCapaldi Oh, journalists ... the same biased ones that just wanted a story, and 'the public' ... the same biased females that already saw Chris as guilty. Sure.

@rtipple01 It wasn't inaudible. She was heard clearly sobbing. This has been reported by both journalists and members of the public who observed the trial

In the case of Christopher Trybus and Tarryn Baird, remember: 1. Countless professionals documented injuries. 2. A video of him SAing her. 3. Her abdominal injuries were equivalent to RTC injuries. 4. Her neck injuries were so severe they were compared to fatal strangling cases.

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey Do you realise the damage you're doing to your own cause? Propagating a story that abuse goes unpunished. That by propagating such a story will only make women who are actually abused not come forward? Justice happened. Accept it.

@DivinelyCapaldi BS ... it was inaudible. Chris' defence even paid to try and have the audio enhanced to make out more detail but it was inaudible. And the 'specialists' were specifically chosen by the prosecution.

@rtipple01 Had she self inflicted those injuries to her neck, she'd have killed herself. She was crying and whimpering throughout the video.

@DivinelyCapaldi Ah, 'most likely' ... that's not good enough though is it. And it could have been part of the rough sex. In the video she never protested, not even slightly, and Chris wasn't aggressive. She knew what she was doing. She was manipulating the situation.

@rtipple01 Exactly. Because the chance is so small that it is self inflicted that the most likely answer is he did it.

@rtipple01 If it was self inflicted, she'd have died because to get those marks, she wouldn't have been in a position to save herself.

@rtipple01 @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey He also gave his own family money. By doing so, he would be seen as a 'charitable, kind man' who you would 'never expect to abuse his wife'.

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey Ok, fair challenge ... but Chris paid not only for their lifestyle, but her parents too. He was their cash cow. He gave too much of his money away, rather than control it

@rtipple01 That medical professionals compare their injuries to car crash victims. Its also rare that they use a ligature that causes so much damage that medical professionals have never seen it on a living person.

@DivinelyCapaldi @Florence744 @ShonaPriddey Which bit ... refusing support ... or your mother in law letting you live with them for 6 months despite, in her words, confiding in her he'd abused her? Like I say, there is so much more to this whole story that people don't know, because it was beyond the scope of the trial.
