“This Is My Design”: #Hannibal-inspired dessert
A recipe for #WillGraham. Fresh blueberries for his cooler tones, woodsy fragrance for his love of the outdoors, fire and smoke for his encephalitis-stricken mind and internal battles, splash of whiskey.
Eat The Rude Sorbet: #Hannibal-inspired dessert. Dark cherry for a glorious shade of Hannibal maroon; orange, rose, and cinnamon; plus Armagnac from the ortolan episode.
I wonder if #WillGraham was still paralyzed at the time Hannibal cut off Cordell’s face (presumably without aesthetic). He’d be looking at the ceiling and probably hearing his screams (or a symphony…)
Earlier in the year I started a #Hannibal rewatch online with some fellow fans. The scheduling was such that the last two episodes happen to be playing this afternoon, on my birthday!! I’m so excited! What an awesome birthday present. “It’s beautiful” 💝🥹🍽️🍷🦌🫀

I just watched Primavera & Secondo today via a #Hannibal rewatch party. I’ve been wanting to make a pom sorbet for a long time.
Carved some small poms into hearts and filled them with love…

I’ve been inspired by Jody Gzhadawsot Mattena’s amazing #Potawatomi cookbook, Gbaton Neshnábé — Cook Something Neshnábé. I may not know how to bead or sew ribbon skirts (yet?), but I can start learning about my heritage through cooking.

The shapes on my baking sheet remind me of a pair of lungs. I might have to keep this in mind for a future Hannibal-inspired meal. 👀🤔🫁🍽️
Mochi got her own piece of unseasoned salmon 💛😊
