@scheuregger Hey , I am trying to locate a particular music professor .He appeared in a documentary on the origins of the blues , big guy with dread locks .Can you recall the documentary or even the presenter?It was on the BBC 3,4,not sure .

Our Spring Showcase Week today moves to @southsidelincs, with our chamber orchestra led by @scheuregger sounding lovely in rehearsal this morning. They’ll be joined by singers from 7pm tonight for our free evening concert. Plus UoL Folk Band. @UniLincolnArts Everyone welcome!

Last week I was with @LithaEfthymiou & @mattkaner in Klagenfurt, and Chris Leedham virtually, presenting at Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität für Musik’s 3-day symposium ‘Composition and Research’.

We also had a nice time absorbing the highly civilised surroundings of Klagenfurt…

The conference brought together international perspectives and examples of artistic research and practice research in composition, offering critical perspectives and a variety of views. We had some fascinating discussions which will lead to further work from the four of us.
