Unfortunately being a writer means dealing with rejection. Yesterday we sent out the results from our latest Open Call opportunity. Whilst the vast majority of responses (although often disappointed) were positive, there were a minority of abusive and unpleasant replies. We asked Paul Hunt @saulhuntman an alumnus of our Scripted Writer Development programme to sum up his experience of dealing with multiple rejections before gaining a place in the group.
