In June 2022, a pilot scheme was introduced to fit GPS ankle devices (aka tracker tags) on people seeking asylum. The HO has now expanded this pilot to examine the impact of EM on compliance with immigration bail conditions. A quick thread (1/12) theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/a….
