@MikeHerzFC I'm married to a Spurs supporter. He literally said this morning that Ange needs to leave and take the Europa League trophy with him to show off in his next job interview lol.

I don’t think I follow nor get followed by much if any Spurs supporter accounts but I’m genuinely wonder how they truly rate their season outside of the social media banter narrative of a Europa League trophy outweighing all the negatives within the season.

@am_i_Stan There was a time when winning EL didn't get you UCL and I think UEFA should return to that or just let the winners take part in a qualifying round instead of allowing them direct access to UCL. All the years we had to play teams that dropped down.

@GeecheeKid @MikeHerzFC @ArseBrosRyan Exactly...football fandom is starting to resemble politics and there's an awful lot of gaslighting taking place. When we finished 8th and won the FA Cup I don't remember anyone saying we'd had a better season than any of the 7 teams that finished above us.

Hell, Spurs have now won more European trophies than Juventus in recent seasons - we’re hardly the only club bigger than they are that they’ve beaten to a European trophy in our life time. Their PL season is their actual litmus test.

In a sane world we'd be allowed to celebrate progress but nowadays everyone wants to bash Arsenal/Arteta regardless!

@CaroleShelemay Did they want it more or were United just really terrible? I guess it's a bit from column A and a bit from column B. Husband is happyish although he wants Ange to leave and said he's never watched such an awful final before.

We have to acknowledge that Spurs wanted this more. When we last played in the Europa League final under Emery v Chelsea, we didn't turn up at all.

@thechug31 I don't care about Kane getting a trophy now he's not at Spurs, but "them" actually winning a trophy after all these years is pretty sickening, but let's be honest, they didn't play anyone decent and they're 17th and have lost 21 matches. Imagine if that was us!

The absolute icing on the cake of what has been one the most trying and straight up puzzling seasons for Arsenal. That started week 3 with Rice’s red vs Brighton, and had a glimmer of hope with his heroics vs Madrid is Spurs and Harry Kane getting trophies. #COYG

I have actually read tonight some people, Arsenal supporters, say that we are in a crisis. Not because we are second again Ole Ole and "only" reached the semis final.if the CL. No, but because Spurs won the Europa League! That makes no sense.
