A 31-year-old from Soweto just built a wheelchair that can move up, down, and climb stairs. His name? Ernest Majenge. Remember it. Because this is how the world changes. 🌍

I found this old picture of me at the age of 16… standing there, holding a microphone, in a place that honestly reflects how little I had. No comfort. No platform. Just faith. Back then, many people pulled me aside and told me I was on the wrong path. They said I should focus on “something better,” something more secure. But those were the days I knew God for real. The days of struggle, of depending on Him for everything. Funny enough, that’s when people called me a true man of God. They admired the sacrifice. They loved to see me walking in lack—it somehow made my calling more believable to them. But something changed. I decided to grow. I started a small business. I stopped depending on people. God began to bless the work of my hands. My ministry began to grow beyond what anyone expected. And suddenly… I became “fake.” Fake to the same people who once sat with me in my struggle. Fake to those I had outgrown. Fake even to those who don’t know my story—only my results. It’s strange how quickly people rewrite your story when they can’t relate to your growth. Where I come from, in Malawi and some parts of Africa, when a person begins to do well, people don’t ask how God did it… they question what evil must be behind it. Success becomes suspicious. Strategy and achievement lead to accusation. But hear me clearly—my journey is not built on social media, nor validation. It is built on faith, resilience, long nights, rejection, and the undeniable faithfulness of God. I didn’t rise from comfort. I rose from conviction. And to someone reading this: Don’t let people define your journey based on the season they preferred you in. Some will only celebrate you when you are struggling. The moment you rise, they will question you. Keep going anyway. God is not only in your suffering—He is also in your lifting. They will be mad because they will fail to figure out how you will still be blessed after they lie and build a whole team against you. If that won’t happen, you haven’t started yet! And when God lifts you up, don’t apologize for it. I don’t!

EFF Deputy Secretary-General Leigh-Ann Mathys says the magistrate will sentence Julius Malema to immediate custody, but the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) plans to immediately appeal to the High Court of South Africa, which they expect could lead to his release pending appeal.

Suspended EMPD Boss Julius Mkhwanazi Admits He Was in Vehicle Shown in the CCTV Footage when JMPD Allegedly Stole R14 Million Semi-Precious Stones but He Denies Exiting or Direct Involvement Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police deputy chief Julius Mkhwanazi has told the Madlanga Commission that his involvement in a R14 million fake stones operation was limited to telephonic coordination of officers. He testified that he did not actively participate on the ground during the Johannesburg-based operation targeting suspected social media fraudsters selling fake semi-precious stones. Mkhwanazi said he only deployed officers by phone and later arrived at the residential scene in the afternoon, where he remained inside his vehicle. He stated that he did not keep any official records of the deployment. The operation was linked to suspected fraudulent activities involving fake stone sellers operating online. He further told the commission that officers Aiden McKenzie and Kersha-Lee Stols, from his truck hijacking task team, were involved after a request from Gauteng Traffic deputy chief Gerald Maseko. Mkhwanazi said he only communicated with McKenzie, who confirmed suspects were still being interrogated, and denied any direct engagement with JMPD officers. The suspended official insisted that after the operation, all paperwork and the recovered stones were handed over to other team members. He maintained that he had no direct role in handling evidence and said documentation was later taken by Revo Spies and Hennie Erasmus following his suspension in February 2023. However, IPID investigator Magagula told the commission that CCTV footage from the scene does not show identifiable JMPD officers present during the operation. The footage reportedly places Mkhwanazi as the driver of the vehicle at the scene, contradicting his claim that he remained inside and had limited involvement. These developments have intensified scrutiny over the alleged R14 million theft of semi-precious stones in February 2023, where officers and a civilian impersonator are accused of involvement. The conflicting accounts have raised serious questions about oversight, coordination, and the legitimacy of the claimed joint police operation.

In the 2025/26 financial year the City of Joburg only spent 26% of their capital budget. That means money that was supposed to be invested in critical projects, such as stormwater infrastructure, was either stolen or mismanaged. You can change this by registering to vote for a DA government! 🗳️🇿🇦 #BelieveInJoburg #Zille4Mayor

It is reported that a newborn baby girl was found abandoned in the bush near Musina, far north near the Zimbabwe border, hidden under grass and cardboard at a truck stop. Discovered by farm workers who saw a suspicious woman who then fled. The baby was taken to Musina Hospital, assessed as healthy, and the police are investigating with no trace of the mother.
