GMO companies can no longer self regulate. What does this mean for GM companies, how does the industry respond to this? agriculture.com/judge-overturn…

Covering car parks with solar panels is way more logical than plastering them on prime farmland.

I just ran a google scholar search of published science using the term “regenerative agriculture”. Of the first 100 search results, only 6 actually measured regen farms (3 were Ecdysis studies). Review articles are not helping the movement. Science is falling down on the job.

Jerry Glover shows a perennial wheatgrass plant's long roots which grow deeper than annual plants' roots. Using perennials, crops that can be harvested more than once without replanting, may be the key for feeding more people while conserving farmland soil buff.ly/3kFpCli

Laguna Blanca is one of the world's most beautiful farms It started as 7,000 acres of conventional mono-crops Each year the farm would lose tons of topsoil into the neighboring Parana river In 2007, the farm changed ownership, and the transformation began

The success of @HORSCH_Canada 's Leeb VL 6.300 Sprayer is largely due to their FlexBoom Option. This innovation is the result of years of research in electronics and software engineering to allow farmers to improve their spraying application. (1/2)

We’re proud of our soil, 22 years without glyphosate, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides or synthetic fertiliser and it’s in great shape. We’re building soil, increasing biodiversity and producing nutritious #organic food all at the same time - it’s possible! #WorldSoilDay2022

Looking at putting up a new shed, at least 8000 sq/ft. What's a nice, best-bang-for-your-buck size? What are things you wished you had done or things you love about yours?

Cover crop update. The lentils planted a couple weeks ago are now fixing N. Look at the pink nodule. Got a decent ground cover and probably at least another two or three weeks of growth. Looking forward to what these little guys are adding for N as well as sugars for the biology!
