@akintollgate Yes. We live in a world that reflects on History. In today’s Nigeria, Abacha is a Saint. Tinubu is worse than Abacha and Hitler combined. PO just amplified our minds and thinking.

Power does reveal character, but history isn’t optional. Abacha’s regime brought military dictatorship, Ogoni executions, Kudirat’s assassination, billions looted, and a gagged press with many living in fear of being locked in dungeons. Some families never recovered from the trauma and those old wounds have not healed fully. NADECO activists weren’t perfect including a few relatives of mine, but equating them as “worse” than that era romanticizes real atrocities many Nigerians suffered. Let’s critique today’s failures on rule of law and accountability across all sides, but let’s not rewrite the past to score points. I would equally frown tomorrow if someone says endsars protesters, are worse than murderous/criminal police officers. A New Nigeria needs facts, not selective memory. Let’s build Nigeria forward with truth. 🇳🇬

Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame. What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

One of the reasons I’ve stayed away from Nigerian politics is simple: I try to anchor my views on economic structure, not party loyalty. But I’ve realized most conversations miss the real issue entirely. Everyone wants relief. Very few ask what the mechanics are.

Someone saw me in Oyo town today and was calling “Egi Egi Egi Egi” and it took me some minutes to process that he was actually calling me. 😂 Please my name is not Egi😂 Egi means “Boy or child or son” So, Egi Nupe, my handle, means Nupe boy or Nupe son 😂 my own name is Muhammed.

During the time of Biafra civil war in Nigeria. This man sold arms to Nigeria government to kill his own people. When he was confronted by news outlets. He said that he was only doing business. Instead of Chinua Achebe to call him out by betraying his own people. Awolowo was the only problem of Achebe.

Five years ago, I left Nigeria with two suitcases and a lot of uncertainty. Today… I’m packing again. But this time, I’m going back home ❤️ Not because things didn’t work out but because it’s time to build something of my own. I’ve missed home. The food. The people. The peace. The warmth. So I’m going back to start a fresh chapter… something close to my heart. Fresh Nigerian meals. A space that feels like home. A place where no one feels alone. It’s been on my mind for a while… and I think I’m finally ready. Nigeria, I’m coming home 🇳🇬

Stop writing your child as Next of Kin and thinking you’ve secured their future Let’s fix this misunderstanding once and for all. Writing someone as next of kin does NOT make them the owner of your property. Not your house. Not your land. Not your money. It doesn’t matter if it is your child, your spouse, or the person you love the most. In law, next of kin simply means: “Who should we call?” That’s it. Not who should inherit. Not who owns your assets. Just who gets notified. Now here’s where it gets serious A lot of families have lost access to money because of this mistake. Someone passes on. The family walks into the bank confidently: “But my name is his next of kin.” The bank replies: “We’re sorry. Bring court authority.” Because in law, next of kin is NOT a beneficiary. Without: Probate (where there is a Will) Letters of Administration (where there is no Will) Or a valid directive like a POD (Payable on De@th) Nobody is touching that money. Not even the “next of kin.” Let me say this clearly so it sinks in: Next of kin = Contact person Heir = Legal beneficiary They are NOT the same. If you truly love your family, don’t leave them with confusion and court stress. Do the right thing: Write a Will Back it up with a Deed of Gift Fill a Payable on Death (POD) form in your bank Put your intentions in clear, legal writing Because the law does not respect assumptions. It respects documentation. Stop confusing identity with entitlement. Next of kin is who to call not who to inherit. ©️Confidence Aribibia

Federal Ministry of Livestock Development
Nigeria Approves New Indigenous Meat-Type Chicken ‘MoorBeta’ The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development has welcomed the approval and release of MoorBeta, an improved indigenous meat-type chicken developed to support poultry production and food security in Nigeria. The new breed was approved for release and registration by the National Crop Varieties and Livestock Breeds Registration and Release Committee (NVRC) on March 26, 2026, at the National Centre for Genetic Resources and Biotechnology (NACGRAB), Ibadan, Oyo State. MoorBeta was developed by the Poultry Research Team of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Obafemi Awolowo University, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, after more than a decade of breeding work involving indigenous and exotic meat-type chickens. The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development worked with the Institute and is represented on the NVRC. The breed is suited for smallholder farmers, with the ability to perform well under different environmental conditions across the country. At 10 weeks, MoorBeta reaches an average live weight of about 2.8kg, with improved feed efficiency and survival rates above 95 percent. Beyond its impressive growth, the bird possesses qualities that make it attractive to both farmers and consumers. Its meat is tender, juicy, and retains quality with minimal cooking loss. In appearance, it is predominantly white with speckles of brown, black, or red, features a large single comb, and has a well-developed body that supports higher meat yield. It also demonstrates tolerance to heat stress, making it well suited for poultry production in tropical climates. A 2025 cost analysis indicates that raising 100 birds can generate a net profit exceeding N278,000 within a 10-week production cycle, indicating strong economic viability and a compelling return on investment for both smallholder farmers and commercial operators. The release of MoorBeta supports efforts to improve local livestock breeds, increase productivity, and strengthen food and nutrition security. The Ministry will continue to work with research institutions and other partners to improve productivity, increase incomes, and strengthen food and nutrition security across the country.

Well, he might not know the meaning of useless, if not, he won't say a government that sorted ASUU issues that lingered for over two decades useless, if he knows the meaning of that word, he won't call a government that initiated student loan a useless government, if he knows the meaning, he would have known that the government that has turned all regions to construction site as a result of road revolution is not useless. Yes, there are killings but the government is not quiet about it, has killing just started in Jos? Has terrorism just started? Making it look like all these started after Tinubu came to power is irresponsible. @mrmacaroni, you can write all the epistle you want, it won't change the fact that Tinubu will be reelected in 2027

SEYI MAKINDE'S ERROR OF COMPARISON Seyi Makinde: "What has Bola Ahmed Tinubu done that I haven’t done?" Well, because His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde is our yoruba brother, I will attend to that error of judgment with mercy in mind. Dear Seyi Makinde, before you sit in the shade and compare yourself to the man who planted the tree, consider the following: 1. Build a political party first. Not inherit one. Not defect into one. Build one - from concrete and conviction, from ridicule and rejection. Then have the stomach to remain in opposition for fifteen years - without hopping, jumping, galloping, or tossing yourself from platform to platform like a market woman searching for a better price 2. While building that party, raise a generation. Not followers - leaders. Councillors. Chairmen. Lawmakers. Governors. Ministers. A Vice President. A President. All from one root, one platform, one vision. The tree that would pierce the heavens first deepens its roots in the earth. Jagaban did not just grow tall; he grew roots wide enough to lift others with him. 3. Use that same platform - the one you built with your own hands and your own sacrifice - to confront a sitting incumbent. Not a weak one. A fortified one. And win. 4. As it is clear you also nurse Presidential aspirations, sponsor your Presidential ambition on that same platform, without borrowing another man's structure or riding another man's momentum, and watch the nation answer yes. Seyi Makinde is a competent Governor. Oyo is better for his presence. But competence in one room does not make a man the landlord of the whole house. Talk is cheap - What the mouth says is never equal to what the hands have done. It is in the doing that men are separated from boys.
