@CrocodileCrikey It’s almost worse when the art is cute. Like what is the Trump Lion Guy doing. How do you get that good at drawing furries while being MAGA
@thatb3rry Almost worse on their part if it IS true , because the concept of giving somebody a WARNING for being a pedophile?? Ban and report their ass tf
@SunshineMurder@SkoffTheArtist So that my fandom account isn’t filled with me replying to people!
And I mean sure, I was more thinking of these people being part of a studio. But it’s still perfectly reasonable for an artist with a webtoon to feel less than people who have industry jobs
@straylet@SkoffTheArtist Nah, I have friends that have directed short films who not only haven't earned a minimum wage, but the project ended up being a LOSS.
Also irrelevant but I'm curious: why do you keep an account where you don't follow or tweet anything, just reply to people?
@SunshineMurder@SkoffTheArtist Because a webtoon and online storefront don’t promise ANY income. Unless you have a featured webtoon, I don’t believe you make anything at all. The others are at least making minimum wage. There is an obvious gap between 35k on twt and industry professional.
@straylet@SkoffTheArtist Most of the positions she mentions in her post don't necessarily make a liveable wage either, specially if they're indie.
Why must we assume their success but not hers?
@D_Festus34@Hotaru99@FluffElena@JoshuaTookes There’s a difference between increasing the quality and trying to make it photo realistic. Animation > live action every time. And with how much these cost to make, I’d much prefer something brand new than the same thing but uglier
@straylet@Hotaru99@FluffElena@JoshuaTookes Dude if I was like hey let's watch how to train your dragon but it's in 480o would you be like "yuck get it away from me, it's not exactly what I saw when I was 12 years old"
@lennypa10e@enemy_dreadful@hxney_coves@restlezzzzz Dude really?? I knew the mlp word was from mixing wallaby and kangaroo, but I figured that was just a funny fantasy word they made! Thanks for teaching me!
@enemy_dreadful@hxney_coves@restlezzzzz The show did say that lol. She did just chase rabbits and squirrels around for most of the ep tho, so I don’t blame you for thinking that! She said she was looking for a meadowlark and seemed hyped about the toucan, spider monkey, and “wallaroo” tho
@hxney_coves@restlezzzzz Idk maybe I havent seen this show since I was like ten, but even so I dont remember seeing anything that crazy? Like she was chasing rabbits and shit
@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight Sorry, this was really unclear. I meant there was a difference between giving an animal tasks for the animals sake and getting the animal for the express purpose of it doing a task. There is a possibility of cropping being sometimes needed for the latter, not the former.
@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight There’s a difference between giving animals tasks to suit their needs (eg, playtime, slow feeders) and getting them to preform a task. The majority are not gotten to preform a task according to the only source I was able to find, but I’m open to alternate sources
If the number of Dalmatians purchased after 101 Dalmatians and clownfish purchased after Finding Nemo is any indication, the fact that Scooby doesn’t have docked ears is SO important, you guys.
He’s beautiful, and I hope they just let him have his natural ears.
@addict_reality@catherinespaws@DarksaberLight I do agree overall, but it’salso important to note that when it comes to colors that aren’t part of the breed standard, the only way you can get that dog in that color is through a backyard breeder. Dogs created this way have many more health issues than a well bred dog or mutt.
@catherinespaws@straylet@DarksaberLight Muts have fewer health issues. The dogs would be better off if more people wanted dogs that don’t qualify for the show ring.
