The Ministry said no. They had to appeal. Eventually the data came out. What did it show? 107 road contracts. GH₵73 billion of your money. Not one, not a single one was awarded through open competitive bidding. Not one. When NPP was doing this, NDC was on every platform screaming corruption. Now NDC is doing it and NPP is on every platform screaming corruption. The script never changes. Only the actors swap seats. And you only found out because journalists refused to take no for an answer. If the government was proud of how they spent your money, the data would already be on their website. It isn’t. It’s not getting as much publicity as the last one so it’s important we amplify it and keep the world’s eyes on. They are, as always, at risk.

There is an ongoing genocide in Lebanon. The ceasefire in Gaza is fake. Free people across the world must swiftly revive the anti-genocide protests and boycotts that were rapidly gaining momentum last year.

Ghana has more university graduates today than at any point in our history. Literacy has gone from under 60% to over 80% in two decades. A lot more Ghanaians can read and write today. So why are things still not working? Since 1993, it’s been the same two parties. NPP and NDC. Taking turns. Promising to fix corruption. Promising to fix Ghana. Here is a fact: In 2014, Ghana scored 48 out of 100 on the global corruption index. Today we score 42. The lower the score, the more corrupt. We have gone backwards. Both parties have been in charge. Both have failed. We are not fighting corruption. We are losing to it. Roads, jobs and basic services are still not where they should be. Life is still hard for the ordinary Ghanaian in a country sitting on gold, oil and cocoa. And yet this same educated generation wakes up every day and defends these parties online like their lives depend on it. Not with facts. With blind emotion. The parties are not the problem. Our silence and our loyalty to them is. It is time to hold them accountable. Both of them. Equally. Think. Please.
