Echoes of War

Was Stonewall Jackson actually that good? Let me end this debate. In the spring of 1862, the Confederacy was losing. McClellan was marching 100,000 men up the Virginia Peninsula toward Richmond. The capital was about to fall. The war was about to end. Then a weird, lemon-sucking, ex-VMI physics professor changed everything. Thomas J. Jackson had 17,000 men in the Shenandoah Valley. The Union had three separate armies under Banks, Frémont, and Shields totaling over 60,000, all converging to crush him, then reinforce the assault on Richmond. What Jackson did next is still taught at West Point, Sandhurst, and the Israeli Defense Forces' command college. In 48 days, his "foot cavalry" marched 646 miles through the Blue Ridge. He fought five battles, McDowell, Front Royal, Winchester, Cross Keys, Port Republic, and won every single one. He used interior lines to appear in three places at once. He marched his men until their shoes fell off, then marched them more. He told no one his plans, not even his generals. When asked where he was going, he'd say "to do my duty." He didn't just defeat three armies. He paralyzed them. Lincoln personally diverted 40,000 reinforcements away from Richmond to chase a ghost. McClellan's offensive collapsed. Richmond was saved. He had done it with a third of the men. Then came Chancellorsville, May 1863. Lee was outnumbered 130,000 to 60,000 by Hooker's army. Most generals would've retreated. Lee split his army. Then Jackson split it AGAIN, taking 28,000 men on a 12-mile flank march directly across the front of a numerically superior enemy, a maneuver textbooks call suicidal. At dusk, his men exploded out of the woods into the unsuspecting Union right flank. The XI Corps disintegrated. It is, to this day, one of the most audacious tactical movements in the history of warfare. Hours later, riding ahead in the dark to plan a night attack, his own men shot him by mistake. His arm was amputated. He died of pneumonia eight days later. Lee, on hearing it: "He has lost his left arm, but I have lost my right." Patton studied him. Rommel studied him. Moshe Dayan reportedly modeled parts of the Six-Day War on his Valley Campaign. MacArthur called him the greatest natural military genius America ever produced. He was 39 years old. You can hate the cause. But pretending Jackson wasn't one of the most lethal field commanders in military history is just bad history. The man was a problem.

Is it just my imagination, or does a rapidly increasing percentage of negroes have a special affinity for sucker-punching innocent White people, knocking them to the ground, and then stomping on their heads by jumping in the air like wild apes and coming down on them as destructively as possible? x.com/i/status/20514… I'm asking because if so, it would mean that these negroes have a special affinity for murdering (or trying to murder) White people. It's not very nice of them to say the least. Negroes typically have thicker skulls (literally) than White people, so perhaps when they head-stomp each other, it's not as dangerous. Perhaps it's like trying to crack open a coconut by jumping up and down on it with rubber-soled basketball sneakers. You're more likely to break your foot! But as science has been revealing to us of late, negroes don't necessarily share all the genetic traits of White people. (There's a lot of nontrivial genetic distance between us.) The thinner skulls of White people, which on average contain larger brains, aren't as durable. White people get fractured skulls, concussions, and brain damage from this popular yoof/teen pastime. They sustain serious and often debilitating injuries that, even if survived, blight the rest of their lives. Is there any rational argument for not using deadly force to defend oneself against these rabid chimp attacks / attempted murders? I suspect not, as nothing else ever seems to get their attention. It's not as though White people foolishly sneak into chimp enclosures and get what they asked for. Rather, it's as though somebody unlocked the chimp cage knowing that the apes would rush out to savage zoo patrons. It seems downright malicious. I'm opposed to pointless violence, but self-defense is a natural right. If, in order to stop his simian assailants, that unfortunate kid had pulled out a .44 hog leg and shot every single one of them deader than week-old road kill, nobody with any sense would lose much sleep over it. Given the circumstances, neither should you.

Trump's DOJ could regain a ton of credibility by simply charging Fauci. If they fail to do so the entire system might as well collapse. Fauci funded the creation of a bioweapon, lied about it under oath and killed millions of people Do it now or just admit you're the swamp
Senator Rand Paul@SenRandPaul

6 days from now, on May 11th, the statute of limitations expires on the possibility of indicting Anthony Fauci for denying under oath that he funded gain-of-function research involving bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, the origin city of the pandemic.

Was his name really Barack Hussein Obama — or was it Jean Paul Ludwig? Let me explain. After digging through records and old documents, something strange surfaced: the Social Security Number 042-68-4425, the one linked to Barack Obama, was originally assigned to a man named Jean Paul Ludwig — a French-born immigrant who came to the U.S. in 1924. He was reportedly given that SSN in March 1977. Now here’s the kicker: Ludwig spent most of his adult life in Connecticut, which explains why his SSN begins with 042 — a prefix reserved for Connecticut residents. Obama? Never lived or worked in Connecticut. So why would he have a Social Security number tied to that state? It gets even more curious. Ludwig reportedly passed away in Hawaii, where Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, just happened to work in the probate office of the Honolulu Courthouse — with access to files of deceased individuals and their personal records, including unused Social Security numbers. The theory is that Ludwig’s death was never properly reported to the Social Security Administration, likely because he never received benefits. That meant his number sat dormant — and accessible. Some believe Dunham may have quietly found a number that belonged to someone long gone — someone not receiving benefits — and handed it off to her grandson, whose citizenship status has long been questioned by skeptics due to connections to Kenya and Indonesia.

Been thinking about a "Game Designer" Mount Rushmore. Miyamoto and Sid Meier are both locks, but the other two spots are interesting to think about. I feel like these are in contention: Todd Howard (Elderscrolls, Fallout) Will Wright (Sim City, Sims) John Carmack (Doom, Quake) Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls, Elden Ring) Gabe Newell (Half-Life, Portal) Ron Gilbert (Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion)

Oh really? LeBron got to his first NBA championship series when he was 22 and won his first when he was 27. It took LeBron 4 years to lead a team to the NBA finals. It took Jordan seven years to lead a team to the finals. He was 28 when he won his first championship.
