🇬🇧 A British teacher has been convicted of sexually abusing and murdering the 13-month-old boy he adopted.
Jamie Varley, 37, took a year off work to adopt baby Preston Davey, then killed him within 4 months.
A post-mortem found 40 injuries. Varley said the boy drowned in the bath, but his hair was dry and he still had his nappy on.
His partner, John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was convicted of sexual assault and allowing the death of a child.
Preston was taken to hospital 3 times with suspicious bruising and seen by social workers. Every warning was waved through.
A happy, healthy 9-month-old boy was handed to these monsters by the state, and everyone who could have saved him looked away.
