It pretends to be a fantasy film, a horror comedy, a mass masala action entertainer, and a sci-fi adventure, all at once and fails miserably. The film is devoid of good comedy, which should have been its USP. The horror elements don’t work at all. The VFX is extremely poor, and the screenplay is all over the place. The first half is outright weak, the second half is just okay, and although the climax is mounted on a grand scale, it lacks impact. #Prabhas looks handsome and delivers an energetic performance, but he cannot rise above the shoddy script. Overall, The Raaja Saab had good potential if it had stuck to a simple horror-comedy instead of mixing too many elements in an attempt to create a larger-than-life film. On the box office front, its Hindi version is expected to tank. #TheRajaSaabReview
