The wonderful @WennLawson at our school where parents also joined our staff INSET. A clear reminder of how ‘being mono tropic in a poly tropic world is difficult’ for our autistic community. We learned how important it is to make accommodations in schools.

End of term was fun! 🍦🎤🎨 Windmill certainly had talent during our achievement presentation 👏 parents and staff joined in to celebrate end of the year together. Wishing all our parents pupils and staff a wonderful summer break!

As part of our VE Day learning, Tajiri class learnt about rationing and how it carried on after the war had ended. We measured out the weekly ration for a child in 1945. We then “enjoyed” eating Spam sandwiches!

This was an incredibly moving but important delivery of the work that went into this book by our respected colleagues in the field and more importantly parents and the autistic community hosted by Windmills research partner @CRAE_IOE
