In Web3, it is opposite. The infra layer is re-rating bc we have too much block space and not enough apps & users. Apps will continue to be valued on their revenue and financial health vs memetic speculative valuations.

Goodbye altbender, hello Aoraki.
Aoraki is the Māori name given to New Zealand's highest mountain, Mount Cook.
Reaching the peak of this mountain is the goal of many explorers, famously climbed by Sir Edmond Hilary who later became the first man to climb Mount Everest, and although my goal is financial not physical, it is a symbolic way of expressing the journey I am on, to reach the peak.

I’m going to have to rebrand, infinite negative aura being associated with anything to do with crypto. Very little upside socially and monetarily. I only really trade BTC & ETH anyway as 90% of my activity is now focused on stocks. With this in mind I’ll be going for a fresh look in the coming weeks. It was a fun ride trading 2017-2025 with a crypto focus but times have changed. There really was no better industry to participate in at its peak, the memes, the degeneracy, the friends made along the way and of course life changing money. Very grateful for what has been, but the industry has changed and there’s no going back to what it was. This isn’t a capitulation post, I pivoted most of my portfolio reasonably early in 2025 and got positioned really well and outperformed enormously. This is more of a changing of course for this account, but will still remain connected with all the friends made along the way. Looking forward to an amazing year ahead.
