@Hilbe @Tesla Think it’s just a matter of progress. I was used to driving a tank with tillers, then got one with a steering wheel (yolk) and it was way better. If it was net for the regulated need to have mechanical steering, the cyber truck probably would have had a joystick control…..

The @Tesla Cybertruck isn’t going to be a vehicle you can just lend out to friends/family like “borrow my truck”. There will be a learning curve having a weird shaped steering wheel without stalks and no instrument cluster. I’m afraid my wife is right in that she won’t ever drive it and many people like her because of how different it is for most drivers to just hop in and drive. For just example, basic stuff is hard to figure out like “where’s the shifter?” or “how do I turn on the wipers?” or “where are the turn signals?” I do think this is a cost cutting measure that has gone too far. Bring back the wheel and stalks!
