We’ve hit that point in the off-season now where every prospect is going to hit. Take advantage while you can. . . …except Quentin Johnston, apparently he’s N’Keal Harry

This is what bait looks like. But their receiving core isn’t even better than the current Dallas Cowboys receiver room.

It’s becoming increasingly likely that Tua will be a solid QB2 this year for Atlanta. He’s the type of QB that coaches fall in love with despite the limitations. The Dolphins are also an underrated dumpster fire organization, having not won a playoff game since 2000.

@Dunzod Maybe unnecessary sacks is the better wording. A lot of the times when he takes a loss, it's one that he had answers for and didn't execute.

Caleb vs Drake is so interesting to me because basically every single metric has Maye as far and away the better player. And then you get to Caleb's super power which is just NOT taking horrendous sacks, and that also happens to be Drake's biggest weakness.

@dpbrugler @4WhomJBellTolls Talking about Pryor as a comparable prospect feels lazy anyway. At the time he was drafted, the NFL didn’t know what to do with a guy like that. It’s so hard to compare now that the league has RG3, Lamar, Fields, Manziel, Kyler, etc.

@4WhomJBellTolls Why I said on the field bc its tough to guess how much the gambling issue is going to affect his draft status. Sorsby is a better QB prospect on the field than Pryor, although might not go as high.

@2tittiesrfun @KwanDislike It’s more complex than that I believe. It changes the way you build your team around both. You can drag and drop Lamar/Allen into any offense and they can produce. Pocket passers generally correlate more to their level of structure and weapons in order to be functional.

@3rdAndDong @KwanDislike @DianteLeeFB In their first 8 seasons Jared Goff has almost 6000 more total yards than Lamar Jackson But rushing go brrrrrrr so it's cooler Lamar passes up a 25 yard pass for a 12 yard run, "omg he's the best ever"

Jared Goff had insane advanced metrics while Ben Johnson was in Detroit, and I don’t think he could dodge a tennis ball in the pocket even if you underhand tossed it The numbers are not being mean to Joe Burrow I promise lol
Scotty@BengalsNation8

The biggest issue w/ modern QB analytics is that they often reward escapability more than elite pocket QB’ing. Joe Burrow gets penalized for playing w/ in structure while scramble-heavy QBs get praised for creating outside it. That’s not objective analysis. That’s stylistic bias.

@KwanDislike @2tittiesrfun @DianteLeeFB Exactly because the top 5 can do both or are such elite creators out of structure that it shifts the dynamic of the game. I think it’s completely fine to call him a top 5 pure pocket passer while also not being a top 5 QB.

@2tittiesrfun @DianteLeeFB Goff is elite at the most important skill for a QB- passing from the pocket. Watch his game against the Rams in 2025 with a garbage OL and a terrible OC. He's so underrated to everyone except NFL players and coaches who have to play against him. That being said, he's not top 5.

@RonStewart_ Bijan RB9 as a rookie playing in all 17 games would be a comparable situation all things considered. You’re not taking that in the first round.

Jeremiyah Love has to be the cheapest “no doubt/generational” RB prospect ever for fantasy football Dont have ADP on hand but for top 8 draft picks I believe Bijan, Zeke, Saquon were 1st rounders Jeanty, Fournette were 1/2 turn guys

@AdamKoffler When has a WR like Olave ever finished even close to WR1? Limited YAC ability to rack up yardage and not an elite RZ piece to rack up TDs. I like him all things considered but see a clear ceiling

@FAmmiranteTFJ Frank the point is that Kubes wasn’t good. It’s assuming the backfill sucks. He’s coming from a premier pipeline, to a highly regarded job. I’m telling you this as someone who made the same mistake with Coen’s hire. It’s a mistake to assume it’s a big downgrade.

@FAmmiranteTFJ I’m not misreading anything. Saying “the biggest downgrade” inherently implies that Fleury won’t be good. He’s a premier hire. It’s fine to ding Seahawks players but there’s no guarantee that it’s a huge downgrade. That’d be a floor outcome.

@3rdAndDong Not sure how this is so hard to understand. When you lose one of the best playcallers in the NFL, there's a very good chance that the replacement is a downgrade.

@ffdataroma @ClutchFantasy PPG is one thing, MM and Harbaugh both build their O through the run game. Assuming both tackles come back, that’s an elite OL. Hampton will have 20 TD potential.

31yo Raheem Mostert was RB5 w/ McDaniels but we’re going to fade Hampton for, checks notes, “efficiency”? The analytics that gave us “RBs don’t matter” is now telling us RBs do matter?? QB, Play Caller, OLine, Draft Capital Hampton checks every box This is Peak Over Analysis
Dataroma@ffdataroma

Omarion Hampton when simply not facing the worst rush defense in the NFL as a rookie, per @FantasyPtsData: + 3.68 YPC (*would be 37th of 43 RBs) + 2.03 YACo/Att (*30th) + 4.4% explosive rate (*20th) + 45.1% success rate (*37th) I get the allure in a theoretically better offense, but feels like there's some revisionist history going on with Hampton's year 1 performance. Although the rookie year sample wasn't too large, Hampton was mostly bad as a rookie both pre and post-injury, and didn't stand out at all relative to Kimani Vidal's play. Seemingly lacks a lot of lateral movement ability that makes some of the league's best RBs special (ie: Gibbs, Bijan, Achane, etc.). I think both Keaton Mitchell and Vidal play a real role in this backfield (Mitchell at the very least for outside/change of pace runs). Hampton is way too bolstered on theoretical situation and role for me rather than talent, not the type of bet I want to make in early-mid round 2.
